“Wait, Roxanna! Let me explain!!”

I had been casually draping my arm over Acard’s shoulders, but immediately took it off and hurriedly tried to clear up Roxanna’s misunderstanding.

“Sis…! So even though you said that wasn’t it, you and Acard are really in that kind of relationship after all!!”

“No!! It’s just because he’s my friend!”

I turned around and sent Acard a pleading look—Please provide some backup—but he merely shrugged meaningfully without saying anything in particular.
