Huey still showed no sign of coming back, perhaps because he had so much to think about.
“What could you have talked about to keep Master away this long?”
“Who knows? He’s probably got a lot to think about, being such a hopelessly good-natured guy.”
After Lucy and I spent quite a while badmouthing Huey,
“I can hear you, you know. You two are really taking advantage of the opportunity to badmouth me.”
“Oh, you’re back?”
“You’re late, Master.”
Huey approached with the veins standing out on his forehead, looking even more exhausted than before.
