Ignoring the eerie chill that rose when the breeze slipping through the window brushed between my legs,

I approached the table while holding my clothes down with one wing so they wouldn’t flutter.

“Let’s see.”

The sender was definitely the captain, but….

“Is this a joke?”

After checking the contents of the letter,

I quietly glared at it, dumbfounded, while considering whether to throw the parchment away.
