Troy's excited voice came through the terminal in my hand.

[I really owe you one. Since one of the city government executives is her devoted fan, this mission was quite important.]

“Ah, I forgot to get her autograph too….”

[Still, it sounds like you got pretty close while guarding her. Why don't you contact her sometime later?]

“Forget it.”

Since I had immediately rejected her meaningful overture—her offer to scout me—without a moment's hesitation.

I simply brushed it off, thinking that if our paths crossed again someday, we'd meet again.

[Anyway, Level 8 right off the bat…. Not bad. Then again, it's hard to call you an ordinary part-timer, considering how extraordinary your actions have been.]
