By the standards of a cyberpunk world, I had less common sense than an eight-year-old, but that didn't mean I felt fear or surprise at the existence of androids─artificial intelligences that thought and acted like people.

Media like games and movies had exposed me to them so often, and even in the world I originally lived in, there had been things not entirely unlike them.

Anyway.

Thanks to that, I wasn't particularly flustered even when faced with a turret that had newly found its voice.
