Even in South Korea, where corporate influence was relatively weaker, it would make huge news if three conglomerate chairmen gathered at one fried chicken restaurant.

In a cyberpunk (and fusionpunk) setting where corporations determined the law, overturned legitimate outcomes, and sometimes even upended the world, there was no need to belabor the point.

I realized my situation had gone from bad to the worst possible.
