Business Trip to the West

The business trip to the west was decided sooner than expected.

Elysia said,

“Let’s go.”

I looked up from the ledger.

“Where?”

“The west.”

“Are you really coming too, my lady? Uncle Bernard, Marie, and I could go alone like last time.”

“You saw the application. The terms are good, and so is his attitude. More importantly, the western mountains have something we need. It’ll be better if I go and negotiate the contract in person.”

“What is it?”
