Though the weather had grown quite warm, it was still spring.

So while it was a little early to call it night, the early evening was already quite dark—

“Darling. It’s dark around us, and, you know? We’re hidden here behind these bushes, so nobody will pay us any mind.”

—the spring breeze blowing from the mountains that embraced the estate in the distance felt a little cold rather than cool.

“My lady, the evening breeze is quite chilly. Here, please put on my coat, at least.”
