Chapter 46: Suddenly?

The demons didn't attack only the camp in the center.

The demons attacked the camps on the left and right as well,

and although all of us won, unlike our camp, which scored a decisive victory, the other camps won only after hard-fought battles.

Many Imperial soldiers and knights died.

Even so, the demons suffered enormous losses.

Of the roughly 100,000 soldiers in the forces that attacked us, 45,000 were killed,

along with 1,000 Experts and 30 Masters, including one upper-level Master—a remarkable result.

After the battle, Chloe worked hard to assess the strength of the troops in all three camps, then sent soldiers from the center to reinforce both sides.

Once that was done, the demons, whom we'd thought would stay quiet for a while, attacked again.

In the battle that followed, the Imperial Army won once more...
