The glowing crystal soon began to vibrate, announcing its presence.

Leaving the flustered Chris behind, I hurriedly picked up the crystal and returned to the tent where Chloe was sleeping.

It had been ringing for quite a while, so I should answer it first, right?

As soon as I answered, I hurried to wake Chloe. The voice coming from the crystal sounded urgent.

'Staff Officer! The demons are attacking.'

Demons, at this hour? With that many troops?

Seeing the number 5 written on the crystal, I realized it was connected to Sector 5.

"Chloe, wake up. We just got a call on the number 5 crystal."
