Chapter 68: The First

We had to get used to controlling mana, and to check my full strength more thoroughly, Chloe and I went outside the camp every day.

With my mana effectively infinite and my stamina recoverable through it, I could practice without stopping.

Thanks to that, I quickly got used to handling the new mana and finished checking my full strength.

"I think I've seen enough. What about you?"

"I don't really have anything else to do right now, either."

I'd gotten used to handling mana, but the movements Mom had shown me weren't something I could simply imitate by trying.

It seemed there was some trick to it, like cutting through mana to launch a ranged attack.

"Then let's head back to the barracks. There's something I need to tell you, too."

Hearing that I had something to tell her reminded me of the Rose, which I'd forgotten about for a while.

And since it was just Chloe and me right now, it was a good opportunity...
