Island of Sacrifice

Shaaah—

The familiar sound ringing in my ears was the ocean.

The waves reminded me of the Crimson Sea Cliffs, though they were relatively calm by comparison. When I came to, I was standing on a beach.

A white-sand beach stretched far into the distance beneath my feet, while palm trees reached out from the island’s interior, leaning toward the sea.

Their leaves swayed leisurely in the gentle breeze.
