'…Is this the end.'

Whoosh, I swung my sword and shook the blood off onto the ground, then stood at the cave entrance.

It was still dark, even though midnight had not yet arrived. On the cliff faintly illuminated by moonlight, only the quiet sound of waves drifted through the air.

'It's quiet.'

At some point, the mobs abruptly stopped appearing. In short, I had killed all the monsters that came out at night.

'Exactly 471.'

There might have been more, but that was about how many I had killed.

'Haha, I killed all the nighttime mobs, so now there are no more mobs left to kill.'

I laughed because the situation was so absurd. So this sort of thing could happen too…. I turned around and dealt with all the corpses I had not yet reset.

This was only the second Trial, so I did not know what would happen, but unless something unusual occurred, it would take at least eight hours for them to respawn...
