I was a freeloader.
Whether I was playing all sorts of games or going to school,
I freeloaded my way through everything.
“Hey, how the hell did you get the killer question right on this test?”
“Huh? The correct answers for questions 1, 2, 3, and 5 had each come up five times, so it had to be 4.”
“.. What? You got it right using some ridiculous method like that?”
“Hey, this is what you call skill!”
“No!! I mean, what kind of Pantheon comes bot lane from level one??”
“Anyway, it worked, right?”
I cheesed my way through games, too.
I cheesed my way through tests, too.
I cheesed my way through life, too.
Cheesing my way through everything was so much fun—and so sweet.
I kept trying to cheese things.
“Oh~~ If I cheese the hell out of a game and upload it to YouTube, that’s easy money too, right?”
I uploaded videos of myself cheesing my way through countless games to YouTube,
and whenever a new game came out, I played it and started cheesing my way through it.
People called me ‘Freeloader King,’ and I simply started going by that nickname.
“Hmm... this game is... an academy-set superpower battle game?”
“What? There are millions of ways to cheese this!”
“Ahem... I’m feeling lazy, so I’ll just freeload off someone else’s YouTube upload~”
I smiled as I searched through the videos on YouTube.
It had been a while since I’d found a game this easy to cheese.
There were plenty of builds posted on YouTube,
and tons of Easter eggs.
Then one video that had become hugely popular overseas caught my eye.
[A Powerless Academy Student Takes First Place?]
The powerless-character run commonly known as the [Naked Run].
After digging through YouTube, I realized I could cheese it.
“Okay, Rank 1 as a powerless character? I’ll cheese the hell out of this.”
I pressed the Start button.
And that’s how the world changed.
