In this grimdark world, traveling between fortresses requires considerable resolve.

The reason, needless to say, was the demonfolk and magical beasts.

To guarantee safe travel despite them, this world developed airships instead of trains.

Of course, airships aren't one hundred percent safe.

There are flying magical beasts, as well as demonfolk with anti-air capabilities.

‘That’s why an airship isn't something you can just launch whenever you feel like it.’

All flight schedules are strictly managed by the Airship Administration.

They avoid the hours when flying magical beasts are active and detour around regions where demonfolk with anti-air capabilities are lurking.

That was also why I hadn't bought a personal airship...
