Right after our conversation ended, Master's reaction was a little strange.

Master seemed vaguely wary of me.

“Hmm... are you planning to make that paper public?”

“Of course not. I’ll have it reviewed at Class 1 first.”

Though easy to overlook, magic spans everything from pure science to military weaponry.

There was no way they'd recklessly release magic like this to the public.

So every magic paper has to be self-submitted to the ethics committee for a classification review before it's filed.

“I’m planning to keep the security classification high. There’s a lot of potential for misuse.”

The paper will show how much lead mages are currently exposed to, and prove the worst possible outcome if they’re left untreated...
