The sea has currents and waves.

At a glance, they may seem similar, but they’re completely different.

Waves are ripples created by the wind.

Currents are the phenomenon of seawater itself flowing in a fixed direction.

So no matter how hard we row, fighting against the current only wastes our stamina.
