Title : Why This Piece of Shit Lee Seonho Is Such an Idiot.
Content :
(Lee Seonho illustration)
The idiot has the insanely fucking overpowered ability ‘Suggestion’ and does nothing with it.
Honestly, with just this guy's ability, he could solve every problem the heroines have, but instead of using that great ability to ‘save’ them, he just makes creepy passes at them.
Han Sora <- All Lee Seonho would have to do is use Suggestion to tell her to calm down, and her sniping accuracy would improve.
Kim Isabel <- All Lee Seonho would have to do is use Suggestion to tell her to act relaxed, and she could overcome and cure her fear of men.
Choi Mari <- All Lee Seonho would have to do is use Suggestion to tell her to stay put, and she wouldn't charge off on her own in a fit of pique.
He could solve every problem the other heroines have all by himself, yet the best thing this bastard can think to do with such a great ability is brainwash himself into thinking ‘I'm handsome’ lol.
The most he uses it for combat is planting ‘courage’ in Cha Eun-joo lol.
Yeah, whatever. You can let it slide that he only takes Cha Eun-joo around because he's a pure-love guy (not). But what's fucking hilarious is that this bastard can't even bang Cha Eun-joo in the end lol.
A guy with an ability called ‘Suggestion’ that's practically hypnosis, yet who can't even bang a heroine who likes him—he's probably the only one of his kind.
If I were Lee Seonho, no lie, I'd have banged Kim Isabel, Han Sora, and Choi Mari. And I'd have made Cha Eun-joo my personal fleshlight ages ago lol.
…
…
…
ㅇㅇ(121.165) : A personal fleshlight lol. Look at how fucking vulgar that word is lol.
ㅇㅇ(39.7) : Honestly, he's not wrong. It's bad enough that this bastard's trash, but he's such a stupid piece of trash.
Eun-joo Cha : Tsk, tsk. Lee Seonho is devoted to Cha Eun-joo, so he doesn't have trashy thoughts like yours.
└ㅇㅇ(211.219) : He's devoted to Cha Eun-joo, yet he makes creepy passes at every female character who appears.
└ReallyGodTierNovel : He's devoted to Cha Eun-joo, yet he hasn't even gone on a single date with her, let alone banged her.
└MutantTypeFetishist : He's devoted to Cha Eun-joo, yet he makes her discharge mana until she's exhausted and then leaves her there.
└└ㅇㅇ(112.150) : When you put it all together, he really is a piece-of-shit bastard…
WhatShouldMyNicknameBe : You idiot, that's why the author gave Lee Seonho such a fucking overpowered ability. The author knew it would be fucked if they gave it to someone with even a little common sense.
└00 : This is fucking true.
└ㅇㅇ(1.232) : I'm the author, and this is correct.
GodTheory : In the end, the author had to ‘normalize’ him because balancing him was too hard…
…
…
…
Cheonmu : Is that so? If you're that confident, try it yourself.

The first thing I noticed when I raised my stiff body was a smell.
A musty, cloying stench that seemed to press against my nostrils. Unable to bear the unpleasantness, I woke up to find faint light seeping through a window hidden behind blackout curtains.
“Ah, ah….”
After realizing that I was in some unfamiliar, disorienting place, I spoke aloud to test my voice.
Maybe because my throat was hoarse, it sounded a little different from usual.
First, I got out of bed to assess the situation and pulled open the curtains. What met my eyes was a horrifying sight, like a garbage dump, that I desperately wanted to believe wasn't real.
“Wow, what the hell…. What is all this….”
Had I gotten drunk last night and wandered into some abandoned building that served as a hideout for high schoolers? Unless it was something like that, I couldn't explain it.
Seeing snack bags and cup-noodle containers strewn around here and there, along with dozens of liquor bottles, I couldn't help imagining that. The fact that there wasn't even a cigarette pack among this mountain of trash was almost surprising.
The moment I opened the blackout curtains and looked outside to figure out where I was, a head of pink hair caught my eye.
I only had a moment to wonder at the pink hair, which looked strangely natural for something dyed, before the thought naturally occurred to me that her ponytail hairstyle and clothes resembled a character from a novel I'd been reading until recently.
‘She kind of looks like Choi Mari…?’
To be honest, she didn't merely look a little like her. The hair color and hairstyle could be chalked up to coincidence, but her body type and clothes weren't things that could be copied so easily.
Most importantly, the instant I realized that the clothes she was wearing were the uniform of ‘Cheonmu Hunter Academy,’ I hurriedly got up and ran to the bathroom.
‘Wait, no way….’
Even though I'd written a post like that on the community, it was the kind of thing that could only happen in a novel in the first place.
What I saw reflected in the bathroom was definitely ‘me,’ but it wasn't ‘myself.’
“……”
Someone stood where ‘I’ should have been.
I wondered if it might be a painting instead of a mirror and reached out my hand, but the ‘someone’ standing opposite me reached out his hand at the same time.
Even the arm and hand it held out were gaunt, completely unlike my own….
“W-what…?”
A man with a filthy, tousled mop of hair, pale skin, and a meager body so frail he might have been more delicate than a woman.
Even though he was clearly a stranger I'd never seen in real life, I knew who he was.
He was Lee Seonho, the insignificant villain character from the web novel I had enjoyed reading in my previous life, 『Surviving at the Hunter Academy』.
⁎ ⁎ ⁎
『Surviving at the Hunter Academy』 was a web novel I had read as a hobby for quite a long time in my previous life. I eventually dropped it because my interest suddenly dried up around the middle of the main story, though.
The reason I remembered the appearance of a mere villain character who wasn't even the protagonist so clearly was…because I'd once posted a write-up about this guy on the community in my previous life.
“…I don't think I said anything particularly wrong.”
I remember it getting lots of upvotes, and the comments were pretty positive too. There must have been plenty of readers besides me who questioned the ability of this Lee Seonho guy.
And in the first place, a community is a place made for discussing novels. If an author insists on crawling into such a place and gets triggered, isn't that the author's problem?
Anyway, I think that was probably the biggest reason I ended up becoming this character named Lee Seonho. To be honest, I couldn't think of anything else at all.
A skinny build and a gloomy air. An untidy mop of hair and scruffy facial hair from not shaving properly. Well, it's not as though there's only one shut-in loser like this in the world, but for now, it was right to assume that I was Lee Seonho.
I needed to confirm first whether I really had possessed Lee Seonho, so I tried using his ability once as a test.
「Suggestion : Increased Vitality ※ Specify a target.」
…This pretty much confirmed it. There was no way a transparent window like this could appear in midair in the real world.
Judging from the circumstances, it was certain that I had possessed Lee Seonho, a character from 『Surviving at the Hunter Academy』. Since it seemed a shame to waste the mana I'd just spent, I used Increased Vitality on my own body.
I needed to clear my head to move around from here on out, anyway.
「Suggestion : Increased Vitality ※ Target : Lee Seonho」
-Whoosh.
“…Well, not bad.”
I didn't know whether it was the effect of the Suggestion skill or the fact that I was now certain I was Lee Seonho, but I wasn't feeling particularly bad.
Knowing the original story, I might have preferred the protagonist if I'd been given a choice, but objectively speaking, there was no doubt that Lee Seonho's ability itself was better.
He was a character with plenty of flaws, including that gloomy appearance and terrible stamina, but his ability itself was unquestionably as broken as they came.
Despite being a villain, he couldn't even properly grasp the potential of his own ability and at most managed to control one girl underling. Honestly, as a reader, there had been more than a few times when his incompetence had nearly driven me insane.
The reason I dropped the novel was that I hated seeing him fail to use his ability properly until the end and then get beaten by the protagonist. Even if I'd been him, I didn't think I would have lost to the protagonist so pointlessly.
“The problem is figuring out how far the story has progressed at this point.”
Judging by the state of the house, it was probably vacation, right? If classes were in session, Lee Seonho would have used Suggestion on Cha Eun-joo and made her clean his house.
Before the first semester of third year would be the worst-case scenario. Before the start of the second semester of second year would still be pretty troublesome. If it was before the start of the first semester of second year, he hadn't done anything villainous yet, so at least there was some hope.
‘At the very least, I need to avoid opposing the protagonist's group if I want to survive.’
It would be best if they didn't even know each other existed. If I had no choice but to get involved with them, I would have to maintain a favorable relationship with them as much as possible.
As someone interested in the protagonist's heroines, I would eventually end up opposing the protagonist anyway, but I decided to think about that later.
Since confirming today's date seemed most important, I turned on my smartphone. The most recent text message I found gave me a sense of relief for the time being.
「Information on the Cheonmu Hunter Academy entrance examination. Since the examination will be held in different buildings for each department, applicants are asked to check their examination building and make absolutely certain not to be late for the first written examination….」
…The main story hadn't even started yet.
After checking the date and learning that I had about a month until the first examination, I decided to make use of this opportunity to deal with what needed doing, one thing at a time.
「Suggestion : Cleaning Addiction ※ Target : Lee Seonho」
…Starting with quickly cleaning up this garbage-dump of a room.
⁎ ⁎ ⁎
The deep cleaning I had expected to take at least two days was fortunately finished in about half a day.
Most of what was in the room was trash to begin with, so I only had to throw everything away without bothering to sort it. It also helped that today happened to be the day the apartment complex put out its recyclables.
Thanks to the ‘Cleaning Addiction’ Suggestion, I somehow managed to take out the trash, clean and mop the floors, and even clean the bathroom. Feeling inexplicably happy, I removed the Suggestion affecting me.
「Suggestion Ended : Cleaning Addiction」
“…Phewww.”
So this was what it felt like after a Suggestion ended.
It had been described several times in the story through Cha Eun-joo, but this was my first time experiencing it firsthand.
While under Suggestion, I felt that I naturally had to perform the action in question. To put it in terms of the Suggestion I'd just placed on myself, cleaning felt naturally enjoyable.
Even after the Suggestion was lifted, the memory of it remained pleasant, so I felt no particular discomfort. Instead, I was left with the satisfaction of having finished the deep cleaning by my own will.
Of course, since I retained the memories, it seemed a little different from hypnosis…if I had to compare it to something, I'd say it felt like ‘pretending to be hypnotized.’
…Naturally, since I retained the memories of what happened while under Suggestion, I couldn't use this ability to openly bang the heroines.
Not only would it be difficult to find a heroine who would obediently let herself fall under Suggestion, but she would remember everything she did under it anyway.
That meant I'd have to get close enough to her that, even after the Suggestion wore off, she'd think, ‘I did it because I wanted to anyway, so I don't really care.’ Only then could I even try it…so it might be a little dangerous to act cocky just because I trusted my ability.
‘If I want to even try, I need to become close enough to a heroine first. Even if I succeeded in using Suggestion, I'd have to start with light physical contact and lower her guard.’
I could force it by expending a lot of mana, but then the duration would be short and the effect would be insignificant.
For now, I should focus on becoming friendly with the heroines from the original story.
The easiest would obviously be Cha Eun-joo, who was practically Lee Seonho's subordinate in the original, but at this point it would be difficult to meet her since she almost never left her house….
‘Maybe I should start with Choi Mari.’
Since I knew Choi Mari's exercise route perfectly well, I would have to loiter around the same route on purpose and somehow get myself noticed.
At least I wasn't going to exit the story without banging even one of my own lackeys, unlike the original Lee Seonho.
