Dorky Outcast Date (2)

Despite finally watching her favorite film by her favorite director, Cha Eun-joo could hardly focus on it.

She kept nervously fidgeting with the hand I held, glancing sideways at me as though trying to gauge my reaction.

‘She seems to have something she wants to say, but I have no idea what it is. Well, whatever.’

I did wonder whether it might be the sort of affection couples typically showed in movie theaters, but I wasn't certain enough to say for sure.

So, for the time being, I pretended not to notice and kept an eye on Cha Eun-joo while following the movie's plot whenever I could.

After all, if I wanted to talk later about which parts of the movie she liked or found entertaining, it would be better to know at least the basic plot.

Two hours passed as we both watched each other and failed to say what we wanted, and the movie was already nearing its end.

「Run, the illusion is breaking apart!」

「Yeah!」

Perhaps this was the climax, because the screen showed the male and female leads escaping through an exit from the collapsing world after breaking the illusion...
