A Strange Walk

I came outside.

I really did come outside.

I had come outside completely naked, wearing absolutely nothing.

Unlike before, I was the one who'd suggested going out, so I didn't feel reluctant or anything. But this was the first time I'd ever done something this crazy, even counting my previous life, so I couldn't help feeling nervous.

If there was one saving grace, it was that it was late and hardly anyone was out.

Even if someone capable of seeing through my magic existed, the odds of them being out and about were lower, which put my mind at ease.

Of course, hardly anyone being out didn't mean no one was around, so whenever someone passed right beside me, my body still flinched.

The magic worked perfectly, so no one noticed even when I walked by naked.

I hurried into an alley, panting, and let out a sigh of relief.
