Setting Sail

We arrived in the port city the moment we stepped onto the teleportation circle.

Well, it was teleportation, so of course we got here this quickly… But moving from one city to another in the blink of an eye like this makes me feel less like I’m traveling and more like I’m playing a game.

It is a game, technically, but… how should I put it…

It felt like all the romance of traveling had disappeared.

[To think you’d try to find romance in a journey to defeat the Demon King… You really have gone too far.]

‘Have I been taking things too easy…?’

Come to think of it, I had felt that way.

Before, I’d had to think constantly just to act like Lumia all day, and I’d always been careful not to get caught, so I’d been pretty on edge.

Now I didn’t have to worry about any of that, we’d found a way to defeat the Demon King… and, above all, I no longer had to worry about what had troubled me most: where the real Lumia had gone. I’d certainly been feeling much more at ease.

Yeah… Thinking about it, things weren’t completely resolved, and I probably had let my guard down too much...
