It's Okay, Big Brother

In the quiet reception room, Wright sat on a leather sofa. A plate of exquisite food sat before him, specially prepared by the administration office’s kitchen to welcome him.

His leather gloves, which he had taken off, lay beside the plate. He had just hurried over from the base.

Wright clearly had no appetite. He simply sat there, gazing absently at the tiny ripples in his teacup and glancing up at the electronic clock from time to time.

By rights, this wasn’t the time for him to visit the military academy.

But...

Wright reached up to adjust his tie. He still wanted to see Mu Chen.

They hadn’t even had a single video call in the past two weeks. Mu Chen’s physical training period had turned out to be unexpectedly busy; even the time he spent messaging Wright seemed to have been squeezed out of his schedule.

Although Mu Chen often tried little tricks on him in the palace and was a somewhat “cunning” mermaid, this was an incredibly strict military academy. Wright couldn’t help worrying about him.
