The terminal emitted the system’s busy signal for the nth time.

Wright ended the call. The screen switched back to their chat window, where not a single message he’d sent on the right side had received a reply from Mu Chen.

Mu Chen had been completely unreachable for an hour now.

Since he couldn’t reach Mu Chen, Wright asked Lance and Quina. But both said Mu Chen wasn’t in his bedroom or the indoor lake. Aside from when he first returned, no one at the palace had seen him since.

Quina seemed to notice Wright’s worry and comforted him, saying perhaps His Highness Mu Chen had gone to the sea, where it might be inconvenient to check his terminal.
