The faint light of dawn filtered through the heavy curtains,

“Beep, beep, beep!” The shrill alarm kept ringing, and the digital clock on the wall showed that it was seven in the morning.

Wright reached out to silence the alarm, then prepared to get out of bed...

Wright tentatively moved his arm. “I have to go to the training room.”
