Arc 4: Epilogue (1)

Maybe because the tension has finally left me, a terrible weariness and dull pain are slowly spreading through my whole body.

My wounds have completely healed, and I should have plenty of stamina and mana, but my brain hasn't caught up with my body's condition.

I wanted to collapse right where I stood. I'd have been happy to sit on a piece of rubble of just the right size.

But this wasn't the time for that.

"Miyu-san."

"Miyu-cchi."

It seemed she was thinking the same thing. Riko-senpai and I spoke at the same time, and the Kenning's head nodded.

'Yes. I'll go somewhere without people and "take it easy" for a while.'

There was no way she'd offer to "take it easy" on her own in this situation. She meant she was going to hide.

We planned to pass the Kenning off as one of Miyu-san's Abilities or something, but if the other Ability users saw her, they would likely find it strange because her spiritual rank was so low...
