It was too soon to have her unit ready, of course, but we’d managed to get prototypes of some new equipment for Gekka and Kenning into decent shape, so our usual group had come to the back of Tatsumin Land.

“Man... it really is far, every time.”

“Yeah...”

I nodded in agreement with Riko-senpai, who was fanning herself with her hand.

There weren’t many people around, and Tatsumin-san had a lot of land, so it was perfect for experiments. But getting here was a pain every time. The round trip alone took several hours.

“Gao, gao. Then why not stay overnight, gao? The inn is always open, gao! You can stay at my place, too, gao!”

“Well... that’s a little difficult. I still have school.”

“Same here. But I might come out this way during summer vacation. It’d be tough when I’m hanging out with my school friends, though.”...
