As you might expect, the news was completely dominated by the incident in China.

'We have more breaking news. The major members of China's interim government have yet to be confirmed alive. The rebel forces have issued several conflicting statements on the matter, causing confusion to—'

And so on. Those who'd been referred to as the rebels for convenience seemed to have declared themselves, but, as expected, the absence of a leader had apparently led to a split.

The Chinese interim government also seemed to be in complete disarray.
