As long as you don't provoke them first, they'll either show you favor or simply take no interest in you.

But if you mess with a non-aggressive mob, it can sometimes be more frightening than an aggressive one.

The moment you offend them, they become more terrifying than gods belonging to the evil alignment.

I've seen it happen plenty of times.
