The day after the Fox Deity returned.

As though it were the most natural thing in the world by now, Hyukjin came to my house, and I told him everything the Fox Deity had said yesterday.

From the Fox Deity's failed plan and the fact that a being known as a 'goddess' was targeting the two of us to the fact that I could now transform into human form without any penalty.

Hyukjin nodded as though he already knew everything I was telling him, then, intrigued by the fact that I could go outside, asked me a question.

"So, you can go outside now?"

"Yeah, she said there aren't any side effects to getting rid of my ears and tail anymore. Apparently, she's gathered almost all the vital energy equivalent to a million people."

"Didn't you have to gather all that vital energy before you could shapeshift? I seem to remember that shapeshifting itself was impossible if your vital energy hadn't reached a certain amount."

Hyukjin, expressing his doubt, grabbed my wrist and felt my pulse, then spoke with shining eyes as though he found it fascinating.

"Your condition really is much more stable than when I first checked you. Back then, you were in such tatters that you looked like you might die any moment."

"I tried not to die. I even started an internet broadcast, despite it never being part of my plans, so isn't it only natural that I'd get better?"...
