121. Committing a Grave Sin
A fight should have at least a little back-and-forth to it.
A battle won by simply crushing the opponent with overwhelming stats and skills is bound to make you careless.
Even Choi Gilhyun, a Ranker from Floor 25, had absolutely no practical combat sense, to the point that it was embarrassing to even call him a lancer.
If I didn't want to end up like that, I needed to maintain my instincts by whatever means necessary.
On Floor 14, I had tried to maintain my feel for combat by sealing Mana Enhancement itself and fighting without it, but that had been a little lacking, too.
Fighting while displaying my skills with my stats cut in half like this seemed to maintain that feeling much more effectively.
The demons tended to rely too heavily on overpowering their opponents with brute force, so I hadn't had a chance to engage in this kind of battle of skill.
Of course, I was still pretty relaxed, but this was more than adequate as a warm-up.
