The pigeon monster transformed into an even more grotesque form upon entering Phase 2.
One of the heads pierced by my sword dangled limply, while several more wings sprouted from its body.
With more than twenty pairs of wings, it no longer looked like a pigeon but like a monster made entirely of wings.
Apparently, the Phase 2 form of the Floor 15 boss, which belongs to the same species as this pigeon, changes roughly like this as well.
Its ecology of parasitizing faith, its power to lift a landmass this size into the sky—what kind of creature is it, anyway?
But the most absurd thing was, as expected, the utterly astronomical amount of mana that pigeon possessed.
