137. Trial Tower, Floor 18

The setting for Floor 18 is a mage tower in a certain kingdom where magic is highly regarded.

A mage tower is a place where wizards of a particular school gather to devote themselves to research; compared to modern-day South Korea, it would be something like a university laboratory.

The Red Mage Tower conducts research centered on the fire element, while the Blue Mage Tower focuses on the water element, and so on.

A challenger who passes through the teleportation gate is transferred to one of those various mage towers at random.

According to the setting, an accident occurs during a summoning experiment, resulting in an innocent bystander being summoned.

In any case, since the summoned challenger has effectively been caught up in an accident, the mages give them a certain amount of special treatment.

Naturally, this leads them to encounter magic and, depending on their aptitude, gives them the chance to learn magic themselves.

As a result, many challengers here change classes to become mages of the corresponding school, following the attribute of each mage tower.

Those who aren't compatible with magic can simply follow the ordinary quest line...
