I stopped looking at the notification and stared at the mermaid.

[Gratitude]

Affection for the Gallery.

No hostility toward humans.

I understood that the requirements had been met because they weren't monsters, among several other reasons.

But the Gallery had only ever contained users capable of communicating.

“Can we let them in?”
