The forest at night looked peaceful and quiet, but unlike the forest, Lazuli's heart was in turmoil.

The reason was that her older sister, who had called her out, still hadn't said a word, even though quite some time had passed.

“Aren't you going to talk?”

“Can't we walk a little longer?”

Edel's voice sounded as though she were out for a pleasant stroll.

The atmosphere even made Lazuli wonder if their argument had been a figment of her imagination.

Lazuli liked being with her sister in this kind of mood, but she had to tuck those peaceful feelings deep inside for now.

Edel would never give up on that man, and even now she was probably waiting for the right moment to make Lazuli understand.
