This is the "Labyrinth of Awe," so perhaps the doors open when someone demonstrates "awe."

But something was bothering me.

There was no guarantee that this hall was the deepest part of the labyrinth, and on top of that, an automaton was rampaging through the place.

If this was the deepest part and the automaton was the challenge, then destroying it would be meaningful. I could worry about the whole awe business later.

If this wasn't the deepest part, then either way, I couldn't move forward without dealing with the automaton. It bothered me that this humanoid-looking automaton wasn't using emotional attacks, but Mimino-san's "Magic Neutralizer" was about to run out, so that was actually convenient for me.

I concentrated all my magic power in my right hand and activated 【Fire Magic】.

White flames blazed with tremendous light.

(【Fire Magic】 was blocked by the shield, while 【Lightning Magic】 couldn't be stopped by the shield and hit directly, but the magic itself was absorbed by the jewel.)

What this meant was,
