Since there were two bottles, the other one must be for Dantes-san. I could hear some truly outrageous snoring coming from behind me, after all.

I gulped down the bottle's contents. It had been sweetened with honey to mask the bitterness and astringency, but the taste still lingered in my mouth. I was about to use 【Life Magic】 to make some water, but decided to use the well while I was at it and left the warehouse.

The dawn light illuminated the desolate land around the trading company. The main building, which served as Muge-san's home, workplace, and shop, was just as much a ramshackle hut as the warehouse, but it was silent. It had still been lit late into the night when we returned, though.

"Huh? Come to think of it, how did we get back here...? My memory's kind of hazy."

I couldn't remember the way home yesterday. And that fact made me—excited...
