A Chocholiges is a monstrous bird with three heads and an earthworm's tail. Its purplish-blue feathers blend into the darkness of the forest, but the Dragonkin's campfires make them glisten slickly, so they aren't all that hard to see.

There is a term called "bird eyes," so you might think that birds can't function at night.

But I've heard that isn't actually true.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be nocturnal owls, and migratory birds wouldn't travel at night to avoid predators.

The term "bird eyes" came about because chickens, the quintessential poultry, have poor eyesight and can't function at all at night.

"Circle them! Circle them and beat them up, nuraa!"

The yellow-eyed Chocholiges charged at us with its wings spread. Nearly two meters tall, it was intimidating enough when it spread its wings.
