The town was clearly far more prosperous than the one they had visited before. As the carriage rolled along its streets, the hawkers’ cries from roadside stalls and the conversations of passersby filled the air with the bustle of everyday life.
Stepping down from the carriage, Mo Xi took in the scene, and anticipation welled up inside her. The livelier a place was, the more things there were to trade.
That meant Mo Xi could finally use her Potioncraft to earn herself some perks.
“Good thing this mission has no time limit. Otherwise, this pace would be far too slow,” Mo Xi thought helplessly.
It was the same world with top-tier First Order difficulty, but the Rain World mission with the fire mage had gone especially quickly. They’d landed and searched for their target on the first day, tried to deal with the terrible weather on the second, and charged straight to the boss’s arena on the third, where they’d mobbed the boss in the name of justice.
It was true that their numbers had clearly let them finish so quickly, but Mo Xi still reminded herself that she must never dawdle when doing missions.
Putting those thoughts aside, Mo Xi took Xiaoxi and headed for the town’s academy.
According to the academy’s rules, no matter which kingdom’s town they were in, students could stay at the local academy as long as one was there.
