Three days later, while Rocky and Tang Xiao were conducting an experiment, Xiao Bai called them to his office.

Rocky still looked somewhat bewildered, but Tang Xiao had expected this. Calmly carrying the materials he had organized over the past few days, he headed toward Xiao Bai’s office.

They knocked and entered after receiving permission. Xiao Bai was already waiting behind his desk. He nodded when he saw them. “Have a seat.”

Rocky sat down with Tang Xiao, unsure what was going on. When he lowered his head, he saw the materials laid out on the desk.

He still hadn’t realized what was happening, but Tang Xiao recognized them at a glance. On the surface, however, Tang Xiao remained unruffled.

Xiao Bai asked quietly, “Have you made any discoveries over the past few days?”

So he was asking about their progress...

Rocky scratched his head. “Hasn’t it been a little too soon? We’ve only just finished sorting through the materials from the previous laboratory, but we do have a few leads. Could you give us a little more time?”

Xiao Bai said nothing in response. He merely pushed the materials on the desk toward them and said coolly, “Then let me give you a few ideas.”
