Side Story 113: The Queen Arrives (3)

We spent some time enjoying the scenery of the Heavenly Garden. When the time seemed right, Hock-san said goodbye to Sapia-sama.

"Well then, this is where we part ways. From here on, please enjoy yourselves with Roa as your guide."

"Indeed. Thank you for guiding us this far."

Once their conversation ended, Rufa was the one to call out to Hock-san.

"Hock-san, you should stay the night and leave tomorrow..."

"Thanks, Rufa-chan. But I'm a little busy myself."

Hock-san glanced my way. Since I knew what was going on, I took it as a sign that I should take over from here.

A minor incident had occurred in Northern Rudek recently. Some people unhappy with Rudek's rule had banded together and taken up arms.

However, they were few in number, and most of the people of former Lifrea were favorably disposed toward their new ruler. Thanks to the swift response of the Eighth Knight Order as well, the uprising failed without growing into a major incident.

Even so, we needed to remain vigilant for a while, so Hock-san could not afford to take things too easy...
