Stein Rays's Move (23): Nelfia Races

On the far side of the mountains from Liffrea's Old Road, a narrow trail wound through a forest north of the Zetta Plains.

Nelfia's horse raced down that trail.

Bandits were chasing her from behind.

They'd been after her for quite some time, but her riding skill was gradually widening the gap.

But the bandits couldn't just give up and slink away. If they couldn't even lay a hand on a well-dressed woman traveling alone on a deserted road, they'd become the laughingstock of their fellow outlaws.

Even setting that aside, there was no way they could let such a prize slip away. The bandit chieftain raised his voice.

"Just a little farther, you bastards! Keep after her just a little longer!"

Though the bandits were inferior in both skill and horses, this area was their territory.

Of course, they knew a route that would let them get ahead of her.

I wonder... Has Sazaby managed to infiltrate by now...
