Ronnie and Marie

The next morning, I woke up when Mom and Dad came into the living room.

“Leon, Ronnie-kun, it’s morning.”

“You two, wake up.”

Ugh... Huh? Why am I sleeping in the living room again?

That’s right, Ronnie stayed over last night. I looked beside me and saw that he’d just woken up, too.

“Yaaawn... Morning, Ronnie. Morning, Mom and Dad.”

“Mm. Morning...”

Ronnie still looked sleepy. Come to think of it, seeing him just after he woke up was pretty rare. He still seemed half-asleep, so maybe he wasn’t much of a morning person.

I was still sleepy, too, but I had to get up... I should go wash my face.

“Ronnie, I’m going to wash my face. Want to come?”...
