"Marcel-san, you're amazing!"

"There's no need to praise me that much. You're far more amazing. Besides, this is just a box you can see into. The difficult part is cooling it, isn't it?"

"That's true..."

If I put ice inside, it should get reasonably cool, but we'd have to keep replacing it. And it would be awkward to change it out right in front of customers at the shop. All that cold air would escape while I was replacing it, too.

In that case, would it be better to send in cold air without putting ice inside? I feel like it might work if I connected a pipe to the case and sent cold air through it.

"Marcel-san, what if we used wind magic to send in cold air instead of putting the ice directly inside?"

"That might be better, now that you mention it... But the question is how to make the air cold..."

"For example, what if we attached a pipe to the case and made a box for ice at the other end? Then we could use wind magic to send cold air from that box into the case. Don't you think that would cool it more evenly than putting the ice directly inside?"

At that, Marcel-san thought it over briefly, then nodded.

"That might work. We should use two pipes and circulate the air. We won't know until we try making it, though."...
