When I had only improved the Light Orb and registered the switch technology, my income, deposited every three weeks, was around five platinum coins.

But after that, I developed and registered various magic tools, including the Purification magic tool, and registered the magic-stone linking technology. From then on, my income skyrocketed.

Actually, I registered the magic-stone linking technology and the various magic tools jointly with everyone. But they insisted it would be wrong to split the income evenly, so ninety percent goes to me and everyone splits the remaining ten percent. That brings in quite a lot of money.

On top of that, I received a reward from the royal family for the magic-stone linking technology. A thousand platinum coins! The numbers have gotten so big I can barely make sense of them.

I also secretly made poison-removal magic tools for the royal family and the members of the Townsend ducal family. They paid around a hundred platinum coins for each one, and I get quite a lot whenever I refill them with magic power, too.

Then there are the ice maker and three fire-magic tools Marcel-san registered on my behalf. Marcel-san paid me five platinum coins during development, but since the earnings turned out to be higher than expected, he’s been unilaterally depositing more than half the income into my account.

At first, I told him I didn’t need it, but Marcel-san wouldn’t budge, saying, “They were Leon’s ideas.” So I reluctantly accepted. In fact, I’ve been getting several platinum coins every three weeks, so it seems the original price really was too low. Marcel-san was surprised, too.

When Marcel-san made the Light Orb, there weren’t many magic stones or magic iron available. Even after he developed it, it didn’t spread all at once, so his income apparently didn’t suddenly increase.

But now there are plenty of magic stones and magic iron, so my income seems to have shot up at an astonishing rate. Marcel-san said another factor was that some time had passed since the war ended, and more nobles could afford to spend money on magic tools.

So I have a large income coming in regularly. On top of that, the street stall is profitable, and I was paid when I was teaching Martine, too. I have various other small sources of income as well...
