Shop Decorations

"Whew! That's everything..."

I stretched as hard as I could, letting out a loud sigh. Keeping my head bent down the whole time really made my shoulders stiff and wore me out. I was only ten, and I was already getting stiff shoulders... I thought about it, then felt depressed all by myself.

Right, I should stop thinking about it. This stiffness is probably all in my head.

"Leon-sama, thank you for your hard work. May I put these away now?"

As he spoke, Roger put the magic stones and magic iron into a box and picked it up.

"Yeah, thanks. Oh, right—could you bring my bag over from the carriage?"

"Certainly."

I took the bag from Roger, pulled out some paper and a pen, and started making a list of things to buy. It was easier to picture what we needed when I was at the shop, after all.

For now, we definitely needed a long table and shelves behind the counter. We should also start gathering decorations suitable for a shop catering to nobles. Our main customers would be noblewomen, but I didn't want men to feel uncomfortable coming in, either.

So, rather than pink or other cute colors, we could use light blue, yellow, and white. Maybe lace curtains with pale blue drapes over them...
