Shadow and Spatial Magic

“The first report I received was that Leon-kun had used some strange magic at the Royal Academy training grounds. He created something like transparent glass in midair and attacked it. Then there was the report that he made a giant boulder disappear and reappear in an instant. And finally, that he moved to another place in the blink of an eye. By the time I heard those reports, I’d concluded that Leon-kun might be able to use magic similar to the kind Apostle-sama was said to have used.”

He saw all of it!

If he saw that, of course he’d connect it to Apostle-sama. I’d read a book about the magic Apostle-sama used and tried it myself to see if I could do it...

I’d hidden it because I didn’t want anyone connecting me to Apostle-sama, but that was pointless.

Wait, but in that case, why didn’t they proclaim me to be Apostle-sama or keep asking if I was?

I’m pretty sure Richard-sama and the others still suspected I was Apostle-sama, right? Martine told me that before.

But maybe they’d finally stopped suspecting me. Maybe all my denials had paid off.

“Leon-kun, I’ll ask you once more, just to be sure. Are you absolutely certain you’re not Apostle-sama? If you were, there’d be no need for you to go about things in such a roundabout way.”

Ohhh... They still suspected me after all.
