In 〈Dan-Katsu〉, Jobs were divided into two classes: lower-tier and advanced.

Of these, 409 were lower-tier Jobs.

Lower-tier Jobs were the ones you could acquire first, and even 【Hero】 was classified as one.

Lower-tier Jobs had ranks, divided into low, middle, and high tiers.

With 409 Jobs, of course they had to be ranked.

【Hero】 was naturally at the very top of the high tier.

Other high-tier Jobs included 【Great Swordmaster】, 【Grand Archmage】, and 【Priest】, though they were toward the lower end of the high tier.

【Alchemist】, incidentally, was classified as middle tier. Middle of the middle—pretty ordinary...
