Kyle saw flames rising from the castle's main gate and realized that the Demon Army had arrived.

The courtyard had already become a cauldron of chaos. The people, having learned of the Roberk Alliance's defeat, shoved one another as they tried to flee, surging toward the rear gate, their only exit.

The rear gate was already wide open, and Shuro, with Mia, and Jini, carrying explosive magic stones, had already gone outside. Kyle raised his voice and did everything he could to guide the panicked people to safety.

"Stay calm! Don't push! Leave your belongings behind and run!"

"Kyle!"

As Kyle managed to calm the fleeing people and help those who had fallen back to their feet, Meryl came running from the direction of the castle gate.

"Are you all right, Meryl?"

"Kara-sama took my place and told me to fulfill my mission."
