Kars and the Magical Beasts

As Kyle and the others prepared to engage Gwenna in a fierce battle, Kars carried the healer Mia and his niece Sonnet, along with the injured villagers, outside the castle.

But waiting for Kars after he went out through the back gate was a fallen bridge.

"Impossible! Who could have—?"

Kars froze in shock for a moment, but he couldn't afford to stop here.

The river was shallow, but the injured villagers couldn't cross it. Nor could Kars cross while carrying a woman and a child.

"Downstream! There's a bridge downstream. Head for it!"

Kars shouted and pointed downstream.

Just as the villagers started to move, a scream suddenly rang out from the direction of the back gate.

Five small dragons were attacking the villagers.

They were creatures created by magic...
