【Characters So Far】
Monica Everett
The youngest of the Seven Sages, the 〈Silent Witch〉, and a practitioner of chantless magic.
She lost weight again during this latest incident.
Nero
Worgan's black dragon. Currently hibernating.
★Student Council Members
Felix Arc Ridill
The second prince of the Kingdom of Ridill and president of the Serendia Academy student council. His maternal grandfather is the Duke of Clockford.
He went by the name "Aike" in the pleasure district. His true motives remain unknown.
Cyril Ashley
The eldest adopted son of the Marquis of Hioone. He has a constitution that makes him prone to accumulating mana.
He would honestly like to forget being mistaken for a woman by the 〈Abyssal Warlock〉.
Bridget Graham
Daughter of the Marquis of Shailbury. Student council secretary. A beautiful young lady fluent in many languages.
She dragged Monica into her room.
Elliott Howard
The eldest son of Count Darsvie. Student council secretary. A self-proclaimed class supremacist.
Felix's childhood friend. Lately, he's really settled into the role of the long-suffering one.
Neil Clay Maywood
The eldest son of Baron Maywood. Student council general affairs officer. A small, reserved boy. Calling him Shorty is taboo.
Very considerate, and the conscience of this story.
★Upper School Third-Years
Hubard Dee
The second son of a viscount. He transferred to Serendia Academy from Minerva. He repeated a year while at Minerva and is now twenty.
The nephew of the 〈Cannon Mage〉, though they only see each other a few times a year and have no master-disciple relationship.
Basically a hardcore sadist, but he also has a strong masochistic side. Strong.
Benjamin Moulding
Son of a court musician. Lately, he's been hell-bent on teaching Roberto all about the ins and outs of musical romance.
Elliott tried to persuade him to stop, saying, "It'll only cause trouble," but he won't listen to anything that isn't music.
★Upper School Second-Years
Lana Colette
A baron's daughter. Her father is a wealthy merchant who knows all about trends. Monica's classmate.
She plans to establish a trading company in Southerndoll after graduation.
Claudia Ashley
Daughter of the Marquis of Hioone. Cyril's younger sister. Neil's fiancée.
She told her brother about the pre-duel tea party (the ditching party) to repay a debt from the ball.
Glen Dudley
A transfer student who enrolled at the same time as Monica. The apprentice of 〈Barrier Mage〉 Lewis Miller.
He lost to Hubard again, but apparently gained something from it.
★Upper School First-Years
Isabelle Norton
The daughter of Count Kelbeck. A noblewoman adept at playing the role of Monica's collaborator.
During the duel fiasco, she secretly reveled in it, squealing, "As expected, Big Sis is the heroine!"
Eliane Hyatt
Daughter of the Duke of Rainburg. Felix's second cousin.
She inherited from her mother the habit of repeating phrases like "Oh my, oh my" and "My, my."
Roberto Winkel
An exchange student from the Kingdom of Randall. He transferred from the "Institute" solely to play chess with Monica.
Almost everyone, Monica included, recognizes him not as "the chess guy," but as "the upper-arm guy."
★Middle School Second-Year
Albert Frau Lobelia Ridill
The third prince of the Kingdom of Ridill. He transferred to Serendia Academy from Minerva.
He has magical talent, but his athletic ability is on par with Monica's.
Patrick Andrews
Albert's attendant. The third son of a viscount. His elder brother had already inherited the title and looked down on the slow-witted Patrick.
One day, when Patrick was being mocked by his brother at a dinner party, Albert intervened and appointed him as his attendant.
★The Seven Sages
Mary Harvey
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Star-Reading Witch〉, who reads the stars to divine the nation's future. She likes pretty boys.
Emmanuel Darwin
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Jewel Mage〉, and a practitioner of auxiliary magic. An old-fashioned petty villain.
Bradford Firestone
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Cannon Mage〉, and a wielder of sixfold enhancement formulas. A battle maniac.
Lewis Miller
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Barrier Mage〉, and a practitioner of barrier magic. A former delinquent.
Ray Albright
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Abyssal Warlock〉, and a practitioner of curse arts. Pathologically desperate to be loved.
Raul Roseberg
One of the Seven Sages, the 〈Thorn Witch〉, who researches how to imbue plants with magic.
A genius at magic, but otherwise a complete disaster who can't read the room. Seeking friends.
One of the most beautiful people in the story, but built like a bodybuilder. His standard gear is work clothes and a straw hat.
★Other People
Lionel Brem Eduart Ridill
The first prince of the Kingdom of Ridill. People call him a muscle-brained gorilla, but he's a gorilla with incredibly kind eyes.
He and Lewis were classmates at Minerva.
Darius Nightley
The Duke of Clockford. The most powerful noble in the country and Felix's maternal grandfather.
Wildiane
Felix's attendant. A high-ranking water spirit who can take the form of a lizard.
The aquamarine set inside the pocket watch in Felix's pocket is Wildiane's contract stone.
McLaggan
A practical magic teacher. He realized Monica's identity long ago.
Barney Jones
The heir apparent to the Count of Anbard.
He rewrote the letter to Monica about twenty times.
Hilda Everett
Monica's adoptive mother. She was formerly an assistant to Monica's father, Benedict Rain.
An excellent researcher, but sloppy and utterly hopeless at housework.
